TaskbarAmp is a macOS menu-bar music player. This policy explains what information the app collects — which, in short, is none.
TaskbarAmp does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. It does not use analytics, crash reporting, or advertising services. The app has no user accounts and requires no sign-in.
All functionality — audio playback, equalizer, skins, playlists, and the generative Lo-Fi engine — runs entirely on your Mac. TaskbarAmp does not make network requests, and none of your files, listening activity, or settings ever leave your device.
TaskbarAmp reads the audio files you explicitly choose to add to your library, in order to play them. These files are accessed only locally and are never uploaded or shared.
TaskbarAmp does not share data with third parties, because it does not collect any.
TaskbarAmp does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, as it collects no information at all.
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version adds an optional online feature — this page will be updated accordingly, and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the change.
